I specifically have had the privilege of caring for my grandma in the past few years. I helped her with physical therapy, medication, changing, food preparation, and companionship. I was able to gain a great deal of history, love, and knowledge from her and I continue to help with the elderly as best as I can. I also helped with my great aunt when she suffered a mild stroke and still see her when I can. I currently play Bunko with senior ladies around the neighborhood as well as do weekly dinners with 2 (sometimes 3) seniors on my block. (One is in her late 70's and the man is in his late 80's). I have a lot of patience. I am very kind, and gentle hearted. I sincerely enjoy spending time with the elderly. I find that they have so much knowledge to give and I enjoy hearing their stories.
