I assisted my mother in caring for my father while he was terminally ill with cancer. This included feeding, medication, transportation, and a lot of TLC (tender loving care). I would read to him, play my guitar for him, or just sit and talk when he felt like visiting.

I also assisted in the care of my aunt who had Down's Syndrome for many years after my grandmother passed away. My aunt also became terminally ill with cancer and I provided much of her needs throughout her illness.

I love to visit with seniors and hear the stories and knowledge they have to share. I am currently in nursing school to become an RN. It has always been my desire to be a nurse. If I was to be hired as a care taker I would have to work around my school schedule.
