Hi, I am a non-smoking woman. I can come and visit with elderly who are still able to live on their own but may need some companionship /somebody to check on them, and also do some light work such as medicine pick up from pharmacy or drive the person to a doctor's appointment /shopping, etc. I help with cooking ahead for a couple of days, doing laundry and other light housekeeping upon agreement of tasks. I am able to check blood pressure and blood sugar too, if needed. I would be glad to go for walks together or just stay a couple of hours and read a book or watch a movie, or have a meal to ease the feeling of being alone. I love taking big walks when weather allows. I can assist you in wheelchair, we could go feed the ducks at a nearby pond or a park, or go to the zoo, etc. Being elderly does not have to be boring and uneventful. We could do crafts together and many other things. There can be other activities upon agreement. I have worked in hospitals for over 15 years, provided patient care and I have one year of experience with geriatric care. I also have over 3 years experience with maternity and newborn care. My most recent work area was to perform free health screenings to the public and events and expo events. I have valid Arizona nursing assistant certificate, and CPR/first aid cards. I am willing to relocate to Flagstaff or Seattle, Wa. area for live-in care if conditions are favorable. You must accept my two hypoallergenic show dogs with me for live-in.
