I have worked as a Home Health Aid since 2009 and am a trained Nurses Aide. I will be taking the state exam to become certified April 2012. The majority of the care I have provided has been for patients with spinal cord injuries or who are wheelchair bound. I enjoy helping others. For patients who are wheelchair bound for one reason or another, I become their hands and feet. There is a high level of job and personal satisfaction in serving someone in this capacity so that their quality of life is improved. I am Red Cross certified in First Aid, Infant/Child/Adult CPR, and AED. I am a student studying Nursing and Surgical Technology. I am also the oldest of 6 children and have 20 years of experience in childcare. I have also worked as a paid housekeeper.
