Emilia was punctual and completed tasks as assigned. She was friendly to my grandmother. She worked M-F 7am-5pm (& paid 10 hours of time and a half) Over approximately 5 months, my 89 yo grandmother had 2 dementia episodes where she fired and told Emilia to get out (I brought flowers home for Emilia after the second episode). Grandmother can eat, use restroom, and change clothes by herself; at first she needed assistance but had become more independent again.This job was to make sure meds were given, Grandma had meals/snacks, and Grandma's room/restroom/clothes were clean; that was it. Almost four weeks after the last dementia episode Emilia called, left a message, and said she could not take the stress and quit without notice or hints she was looking elsewhere. It was Sunday afternoon and I was expecting her Monday at 7 a.m.
