I'm a senior caregiver with over 15 years of experience with male and female patients. I began providing care by assisting my great grandmother after she began hospice care for a cancer diagnosis. I enjoyed providing assistance to seniors and would like to continue to develop my caregiving skills by providing one-on-one care as a caregiver with patients who have different types of ailments such as Alzheimer's/dementia, cancer, catheter, diabetes, dialysis patients, feeding tube, hospice, bed-bound patients "position and turn every 2-hours" to avoid skin break downs, incontinent care (diaper change) and Parkinson's disease my experience is far beyond my job description.

I've provided care for numerous client/clients in their home setting for years. I've cared for a 93-year-old lady with Parkinson's disease from 2006-2010, 77-year-old female, who suffered from a stroke; from 2003-2005, 67-year-old male with bone disease who I call "appa" which means grandfather in India from 2011-2013. Over the years, I filled in as a substitute caregiver because of my reliability.

My responsibilities as a caregiver were: assisting with a variety of tasks including personal hygiene such as skin/hair, fingernails/toenails, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
