For the last 4 years, I have worked for a non-medical home care company taking care of a wide variety of complex cases, including individuals with Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetes, Dementia including Alzheimer's, Stroke, Parkinson's and those with other types of physical and mental challenges. I am skilled in the use of durable medical equipment such as the Hoyer lift, wheelchair, various walkers, and the gait belt. I can do glucose monitoring and blood pressure checks. I am proficient at caring for the bed bound patient and those with paralysis, tracheostomy, and feeding tubes. My experience with Hospice patients has taught me much about end of life care.

In January, 2009, I completed the Nurse Aid course and became certified as a CNA in April, 2009. I truly enjoy providing the services required to keep an individual in their home. I am an excellent housekeeper and love helping with my patients' pets.

Having owned a hearing aid business for 13 years, I have many years experience working with the elderly population. I enjoy the personal interaction with seniors and love helping to add quality and joy to their life.
