I am woman in my mid-40s who is looking for a job taking care of the elderly. I have prior experience caring for a woman who was 84 at the time I began working for her. Over 4 years I gained a lot of experience while taking care of this woman. I learned about appointment planning, logging medication, and drove to and from doctor appointments. I believe myself to be a good cook and am willing to prepare meals and grocery shop for the person if needed. I will also keep them company if they would like someone to sit and talk to. I'd also be willing to do light housework such as laundry, cleaning the kitchen after meals, and picking up lightly in their bedroom and living room. I am a caring person who enjoys helping those in need. I feel a great amount of fulfillment seeing the happiness in their faces and knowing that I've helped them in whatever way I can.

I recently have stopped working for an elderly man who I cared for a long time. His family chose to have him live in a retirement home. I am available to work Monday through Thursday and if needed occasionally I would be willing to work Saturday and Sunday as well. I'd really love it if you were to give me a chance to show how much I enjoy what I do.
