I was a caregiver at an assisted living facility for a year just before I moved to GA in September. I remind them to take their medicine, assisted with their personal hygiene, washed their clothes, ran errands for them, assist them on the bus so that they could attend their programs, took them to doctor visits, meal preparation, and I was a caring companion. I took care of my 87-year-old grandfather for a year and a half after he had a stroke. I made sure he took his medicines, gave him insulin shots, assisted with baths, glucose checks, and daily activities. I worked at a group home for four months as a direct support staff. I assist with every day living activities. I'm now working for a different company as a caregiver.
