I am presently working full time for a school district as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I am available to work from 4:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. M-F and weekends. I am off during the summer and on holidays. I have a passion to care for others. I am presently working with special needs students and love what I do. I am also passionate about senior care. I was fortunate to have experience taking care of both my grandmother's. One grandmother lived with us for about 10 years. I helped prepare meals, give her medications, read to her and I especially loved setting up a beauty parlor for her. Fixing her hair and taking care of all her personal needs always put a smile on her face. My mom's mother lived with us a short time. She was dying of cancer and we provided hospice care for her. In my present day home a neighbor asked if I would be interested in helping her with her parents living in her home. When they needed to go out-of-town I would drive them to church, prepare meals, take care of any personal needs, watch movies together.
