I have worked at 2 real big assisted living facilities, I also worked doing home health care, and right now I currently work at a small facility taking care of four elderly women. I cooked their meals, wash their clothes, take them to the restroom, give them showers, and do light house cleaning. I also give them their daily medicine. All the seniors I have taken care of have some type of dementia, Parkinson's, and I also worked in an Alzheimer's unit. I love doing what I do because I get to spend time with them and get to know them and their needs. I am also going back to school to further my career. I also took care of my grandfather for two years that had Alzheimer's until he passed away and I do have a certificate for taking a course on Alzheimer's.
