My initial experience caring for seniors began after my grandmother had a stroke on Mother's Day in 2009. For a year and a half, I dedicated a great deal of time ensuring that she led the most comfortable life possible. During this time, I realized that it fulfills me to improve the lives of others who cannot help themselves. I love being around others. I am trustworthy, and I am enthusiastic. It brings me great pleasure to assist the elderly and improve their happiness.
I spent a year at St. Mary's hospital, working in transportation, central services, 2 east, 2 west, sterile processing, human resources, labor and delivery, cleaning nursing station and housekeeping. While at St. Mary's Hospital, I became close with the patients and learned a lot from shadowing doctors and nurses as well.
