I have worked as a Personal Care Attendant for a retirement facility, and also as a Central Supply Coordinator for two different retirement/health care facilities. As a personal care attendant, I assisted residents with baths, personal hygiene, getting dressed, and going to the dining room, where I also served their meals and beverages. As a Central Supply Coordinator, I was in charge of all health care supplies used for nursing/personal care for the residents. I kept all individual rooms stocked with hygiene products, health care items, and any special care devices/supplies needed, such as I. V. pumps, tube-feeding pumps/formulas, respiratory devices, etc. I had extensive personal contact with residents daily, and I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with them.

I have always had a special place in my heart for the elderly, and I find that they respond well to me. I am quiet, gentle, and friendly; characteristics that seem to be generally well-suited for working with older people.
