I have been a private medical aide for 12 years. I am also a nationally certified Medical Assistant. Certified in CPR, as well as in medical herbalism. I come with letters of recommendations, and references upon request. I have experience in several different medical situations: paralysis, cancer, congestive heart failure, strokes, Alzheimer's, dementia, lung conditions, blindness, infectious diseases, polio, incontinence, diabetes, balance problems and several others. I can administer medications, do vitals, injections, perform test, blood draws, EKG's and several other medical procedures. I am always willing to learn new skills, and I am always taking new classes to improve and gain new skills and knowledge. I have 3 1/2 years experience with an electric hoyer lift, and I also can drive a wheelchair van. I am upbeat and positive, with lots of patience. I enjoy being with people, and can flow easily between different age groups, my interest are varied, so there has always been things in common between my patients and myself. Many of my assignments have lasted several years. My last 3 1/2 years. I also have a lot of experience in caring for pets, so pets are never an issue.
