I have cared for seniors since I was a child and my grandmother lived with us. I was her "go-for" and "extra cane." I became a CNA after high school and have worked with seniors ever since. After being a CNA, I became an activity director and did that for about 20 years. More recently, I have been an adult school teacher for older adults, teaching poetry, memory skills, and crafts, etc. I did private care giving for a 50-year-old quadriplegic for 10 years before moving to Missouri. The most important aspect of my work, in my opinion, is to raise the bar on quality of life for my clients. To that end, I have devoted my life.
