Hi, to all elderly care seekers and take a good look on my profile. I had my first experience with a sweet old lady from 2007-2008. She and I had a wonderful caregiver and a patient relationship. My tasks included: preparing her meals, reminder of medications, bathing, assisting to and from the bathroom, ambulation, grooming, and dressing and undressing. I am a good listener and find that it is the best way to connect with them. I am a naturally patient and kind person. These qualities are part of my culture in respect to treating your elders. I'm the oldest of 8 sibling and I grew up in the Philippines. Years before that, I worked in a home based day care for 6 1/2 years. I work in my heart knowing I can make a difference in people's lives and allow them feel to feel they are loved.
