Hello everyone!
I've spent the last 25 years in the service industry. I now use that experience, along with a need for purpose in my life, which is helping others.
For the past 2 years, I've had the time to help some family members who are disabled and diabetic. I'm looking for others who need a little help.
Do you have someone who lives alone and just needs checking on? Maybe a little help with weekly chores? Or maybe they would just like some company, play cards, take walks or visit a senior center?
As I stated above, I lend support to family members, two sisters in law. They both see a doctor in Westminster, MD. Transporting them back and forth for several visits, I've noticed a woman driving a van service to transport people to and from the doc office. I just love to lift up other working women. With both sisters in the backseat I stop, roll down my window and ask "Is this your business?" "How are things?". We conduct a little chit chat and I say good luck to you and I drive away.
Looking in the rear view mirror, there are my sisters WIDE EYED. They thought I was going to pawn them off on the service. We all laughed.
