I found myself enjoying listening and learning from his life experiences. Part of my care included running errands, meals, laundry and his housekeeping needs. I did not have to help with personal care such as showering or restroom needs.

Although I have not been paid for a position like this I did enjoy making his life easier and enjoyed listening and learning from his life stories.
