I am starting my own business and I would love to help seniors in my community remain in their homes by providing companionship, assistance with doctor appointments, hair appointments, errands, light housekeeping, laundry, and changing linens.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the past 12 years I have spent helping my mom with her challenges and ever-changing needs. She is a trooper, dealing with polio, severe hearing loss, retinal cancer in one eye and glaucoma in the other, and increasing short-term memory loss. I help her with errands, doctor appointments, clothes shopping, weekly medication set-up, and at times her laundry, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. It's a wonderful feeling being able to make such a positive difference in her life. I am able to anticipate my mother's needs even before she is aware of them, and make sure all her needs are met. I help organize and find innovative ways of making her life easier, safer, more functional, and as independent as possible as she ages and new challenges arise. I also helped care for my father for a year during his battle with lung cancer, and with his very special needs.

I am good-natured, compassionate, professional, trustworthy, and dependable. I am a very hard worker who can be trusted to provide the loving care and needed services that you will be depending on me to provide. I am never late, I would be very respectful of your privacy, and I'm very honest and trustworthy. You can feel comfortable having me in your home, with no worries. A temporary position I held entrusted me with sensitive client and company information, and I also did daily bank runs. All of the information has remained safe with me, and I was a valued and trusted employee.

I am providing access to references who can vouch for my work ethics, character, and how passionate I have been in helping my mom with all her needs, and to do whatever is necessary to make her life more independent, easier, safer, functional, and more enjoyable.

I don't have years of experience in the public sector, but I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience helping my mom, and dad, over the years. I look forward to meeting and speaking with you about your special needs, and what it is that I can do for you to help you remain independent within the comfort of your own home.
