My name is Brandee. I am a native of Birmingham, Al where I have resided 31 years of my life. I work at Brookwood Medical Center and was recently employed as a patient care associate for 7 years of my career here at the facility. During this time I cared for others with duties such as assisting the nurse with baths, feeding patients, changing diapers and assisting to patients to the bathroom who were unable to walk and also turning patients every two hours to avoid bed sores and infections. My experience in helping others gave me a sense pride within myself. One of the greatest gifts given from God is the ability to help others in need and give back to the community. Knowing that I was of great assistance to someone in need made me love my job just to know that I made a difference in someone else life other than my own is my purpose here on earth.
