I enjoy the elderly. Their wisdom and experience are invaluable. I took care of a friend's mom for over 1-1/2 years (from cancer onset through Hospice and passing), seeing to it she was as happy and comfortable as possible. I prepared meals, reminded her to take her meds, helped with personal hygiene, shopped and ran errands, took her to appointments and lunch dates, helped her entertain family and friends. She taught me how to clean squid and crochet shade pulls. I helped her put her false teeth in after not using them for years. Her sense of humor, bravery and friendship were priceless. I miss her! I am flexible, honest and reliable. Recent updated CORI obtained for volunteer work at the Senior Center.
