Barbra W.

Hello to all, Barbra W. took care of my 66 year old paralyzed wife for over three and a half years. She is an outstanding care giver. My wife had an aneurism, stroke and two brain surgeries in Sept. of 2007 which left her paralyzed on her left side and legally blind. Barbra started working for me sometime around May or June of 2008. She has always been on time and has been willing to stay over when I was late off flying on one of Lockheeds Producton C-130J's. I normally go to work at 5:00 o'clock in the morning and would get off around three thirty or four in the afternoon. Barbra's day starts when I leave for work. Diana is an early riser, Barbra gets her up as soon as I leave for work. Diana wants her breakfast early, usually cereal or poached eggs and toast along with her coffee and medicines. Then she brushes her teeth and back to bed. It hurts her to sit up very long. Barbra would give Diana her sponge bath sometime prior to lunch along with helping Diana do some of her exercises. Then approximately 12:30 to 1:30 in the afternoon Barbra would fix Diana her lunch, usually a half sandwich and some yogurt, cranberry juice and her medicines. Then back to bed to do some exercises. We use a patient lift to put Diana into the wheel chair and on and off the porta potty. Diana requires constant care. Barbra worked from the time she arrived at work until she left work. She is a hard worker and I definitely would rehire her. This job required meal preparation and some light housework to as well as laundry. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
