I am currently a substitute teacher in the Edina Public Schools and I work primarily with young children, but I love working with seniors and I am looking for a change. I have experience with seniors when I worked for a financial planner.

I have parents who are getting older so this transition in my life seems natural as I spend more time with the elderly. My mother had a stroke many years ago and I am well acquainted with the challenges that affect both the individual and family members.

I was also trained to work at a senior home with Alzheimer patients. I decided not to take the job as the hours did not work with my schedule.

My job as an Early Childhood teacher has taught me patience and the ability to work with a variety of adults and children. I believe all of these skills would make me an excellent candidate to work with seniors.
