I have over 5 years experience working as a Program Counselor, both in a group home setting and also as a private in-home care provider, while providing care for a wide variety of different physical and personal needs. Following those positions, I had the privilege of providing one-on-one care for my grandmother for 3 years while she needed assistance after having a debilitating stroke.
In addition, I have also had experience caring for children in daycare settings, group home settings, and church childcare. I also have three children of my own, ages 6, 7, and 11.
I have experience organizing, planning, and implementing everyday household and healthcare needs. I have also provided transportation, companionship and recreation, in addition to medical and dietary needs.
I am currently a part-time student pursuing the health care field and I definitely have a desire to help others achieve their personal goals!
