I have been an CNA for a year and six months now. I have worked in several nursing homes, therefore I know what patient care is. I am very passionate when it comes to helping people . My patients get treated with respected and nothing but love. It also puts a smile on my face and lifts my spirit when I can use my skills to make someone else feel loved. I have did all of the following: Feed patients who are unable to feed themselves. Transport patients to treatment units, using wheelchairs or stretcher. Turn and reposition bedridden patients, to prevent bedsores. Provide patient care by supplying and emptying bed pans, applying dressings and supervising exercise routines. Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity. Help patients with bathing dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.
Record food and fluid intake and output. The Downfall I have is transportation, But I am willing to travel any were on a bus line.
