My sister and I are currently taking care of our mother, who has Alzheimers disease. My adopted mother is 80 years old, we have been taking care of her for 5 years. I recently attended school for a Home Health Aide, so that I would have the proper training necessary to care for my mother. I am passionate about my work, I treat all elderly person with the up most respect and dignity, I am patience, hardworking loyal and dependable. I also have a very calming spirit within me. I assist my mother with her daily living skills. dressing hygiene. feeding. We go on daily walks. My mother goes to day care three times a week. On the weekend we attend church and go the movies or sit at the park and enjoy the sunshine.
