I have experience working with three elderly ladies. The lady I currently work with is 103 years old and I have worked with her for seven months. I also worked with a lady over the summer for 2 months, but she was put in a nursing home shortly after I returned to college. Lastly, my grandmother has Alzheimers Disease and I have years and years of experience with her.

I have done a variety of things for the ladies I have worked with such as: clean the house, cook meals, assist the individual while using the restroom, wash clothes, dress the individual, bathe the individual, wash dishes, exercising with the individual, walking/physically supporting the individual and many other things.

I hope to one day be a nurse and have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages. I am very passionate about helping individuals that need extra services. I try to treat each person with respect. I also try to make each person I work for feel like they still have a purpose and they matter in this world, even at their age. My personal goal is to treat the individual as a person that deserves respect, comfort, and joy within their own home.
