My experience as a geriatric caregiver has evolved over time. I started at 15 as a swim & aquatic fitness instructor at my local swimming pool. I became so attached to the ladies, I taught from Dunwoody, I began visiting them frequently.
More recently, a position in a salon at an elderly community has put me in touch with why I enjoy caring for older generations. It has given me the opportunity to do more than answer phones. I have administered CPR, cared for seizures, and aided people in a time of need. The relationship I built at the elderly community has led me to care for two other women, a 90-year-old with Alzheimer and 85-year-old recently diagnosed with Cancer. The experience has taught me patience. Furthermore, it has allowed me to become comfortable with wounds and vulnerable circumstances.

Graduated from a five-year architecture program from Penn State so I am a total Penn State Fan. I lived in Italy for six months and speak some Italian. I love to walk, swim, and stay active. As well as, visit the Barnes Foundation and find other innovative activities. I've become an expert of shoveling snow. I can wash & set hair, paint nails, and although I try, I am terrible at crosswords.
