I love the elderly. I desire to befriend and help them through their later years of life. My joy has been helping take care of my father, who has had dementia for the last eight years and also my mother, who had a major stroke. By going to the nursing home three to four times a week and encouraging them as well as visiting with other residents, I discovered my love for these folks. I have volunteered at Judson Health Center in activities. I have been working with two ladies who have MS. I would love to continue to work with these folks on a regular basis.
