Samantha M. - Seattle Senior Caregiver
Profile of Samantha M.
Part-Time, 3 Years of Experience
I am open, warm, and honest, and love to help people.I would love to help morning or afternoon shifts and two weekly sleepovers are great too! I have worked in this field on and off over the last 15 years. I was 15, when I first started helping my mother look after my grandmother after a bad car accident. I found that this type of work came naturally to me and led me on a trail around the world doing this type of work. After starting in Australia, I then started working for an agency in London. I accepted a live-in carer position for eight months in which I cared for an 82-year-old lady of leisure. In the USA I have had experience of completing a CNA course, trained in a large home in Everett, but moved back to one-on-one care where I worked for an agency on Whidbey Island. I prefer one-on-one care, where I can devote my attention to one person and help them with all matters of care. From assistance with bathing, dressing, part-time exercises, days out in the park, shopping, and cooking for a lunch party of 12!
