I lived with my then 82-year-old grandmother after my grandfather passed. It was an eye opening experience. I was honored to be with her during that time. I cooked, cleaned, did laundry, grocery shopping, made doctor and dentist appointments, refilled prescriptions, got the mail, took care of bills, took her to exercise class (she was very limber!), played double solitaire together, etc. Basically provided companionship and helping her as needed to make her days more comfortable.
