My first formal experience with seniors was in San Jose where I worked in an assisted living facility coordinating all the activities. My role was to ensure that all seniors were happy and well-looked after. I had to work with the clinical staff to meet the clinical/medical and personal hygiene needs of the seniors. I also had to ensure that dining services were up to standard and food to match individual requirement. Other duties included scheduling transportation for medical appointments, shopping, and liaising with other departments. I would also submit weekly reports of residents and maintained good relations with resident's families, updating and keeping them posted of the well-being of their loved ones. I worked for this facility for several months before I relocated to Sacramento.
In Sacramento, I worked as a live-in home care provider in Auburn and Roseville for about three and a half months. I scheduled all kinds of appointments and provided transport. I worked with Alzheimer and dementia cases. I cooked and did light housework and some gardening.
The biggest motivation for in this line of work is that I love to help people. I care especially for those who are need assistance.
I can work with seniors that have dementia or on hospice. I can do light housecleaning and looking after pets and can also have a valid driver's license. I believe the childhood experience I had with my grandparents and knowing that everyone get older everyday makes me passionate about care giving.

I love playing cards and playing the guitar, singing and going shopping.
