I was recently laid off from my part-time hospitality job after 18 years of service. I am interested in working with seniors. I worked at a convalescent home for one year during high school, and participated in the Adopt-a-Grandparent program, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I grew up spending weeks in the summer with my grandparents and went with them to volunteer in senior care facilities. I enjoy helping others, and I think caring for seniors would provide me with a rewarding job with flexible part-time hours. I have a college degree in leisure studies and services from the University of Oregon. I have been a PTA and foundation president in the schools. I have chaired school auctions for five years. I currently run the middle school track program. I have coached soccer for nine years. I am a reliable, trustworthy, and caring individual. My work experience with seniors may be limited, but my heart is big.
