Oklahoma - Benefits
Health Insurance Options
Before you begin your search for affordable senior care, find out if your loved one has any existing coverage from insurance or retirement plans. Even if a senior is covered already, it is important to know what is out there and what types of benefits come along with given plans. For instance, private plans may be more expensive, but can offer benefits seniors want. Many employers offer benefits and retirement plans and, in some rarer cases, non-employer groups like churches, fraternal groups, and work unions offer similar plans. Programs such as Medicare and Medicaid can be a great resource, but eligibility requirements are pretty rigid.
