Rachel A. - New York Senior Caregiver

Profile of Rachel A.

Part-Time, 0 Years of Experience

I enjoy the company, recollections, and wisdom of people older than myself. I have provided care for both my mother and father-in-law, and am currently sharing with my sister, the care of our 82-year-old mother. I take her to multiple doctors' appointments (which involves moving her in and out of her wheelchair or transport chair). I wash and cut her hair, do her nails and make-up, and help her dress. I also monitor her blood pressure and advise her on diet and exercise. I prepare simple meals and do some light housekeeping. I help her pay bills, and also assist with her personal correspondence. I would be happy to help your loved one with any, or all, of these activities. My references available upon request.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I worked for 16 years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I enjoy literature, poetry, music, theater, nature studies, and comforting conversation.
