I have 13 years' experience working for the L.A.U.S.D. Currently, I am a Spanish translator, an adult assistant for a quadriplegic, cerebral palsy student and a DE instructor (teaching after school at many high school sites and resource centers). My experiences have been working with: Down syndrome, ADD, ADH, CBI, MR, MRS, visually impaired, special education, resource students, private tutoring, elementary school, junior high school, AmeriCorps/Ameri Literacy, and a mother's helper for nine years. I'm certified by the L.A.U.S.D.: CPR, First Aid, child abuse awareness and bilingual (Spanish) oral and written. I'm a very: dynamic, optimistic, trustworthy, loving, and a very hilarious person. Personally, I'm a non-smoker/drinker, with an outstanding driving record and who is afraid being around big pets. I also enjoy helping senior citizen's in their daily activities such as: transportation, individual help, and light house work.
