I've been a senior care provider for 15 years; 10 of those years were caring for my husband who was disabled by MS and was unable to care for himself. Because of this experience, I chose to care for other seniors who needed care giving. I enjoy working with seniors for several reasons. They love to have someone to talk to, and I truly enjoy listening to their stories. A lot of my past clients have had a good sense of humor which I enjoy as well. It's satisfying to work for people who appreciate the fact that you are there to listen to them and take them places they might not normally get to go. I never expected to enjoy this sort of job so much, but I truly do.
