I've been doing home health care off and on for about ten years. I really enjoy it and I enjoy taking care of the residents. In some cases, you may be all that the client has and they may not just see you as their worker, but also as a friend. When I was a teenager, my great grandmother was dying of cancer and she was the person who raised me when I was a child. I used to help look after her before she was placed in a nursing home. I feel that most clients do better if they are in the comfort of their own homes and I love to be the one who provides that comfort for them so I feel this is my way of giving back
