Senior Care Driver

My mother recently stopped driving and needs occasional help running errands and such. She lives near the Elkhorn-Greenback intersection of Sacramento, close to Citrus Heights, Carmichael, etc. Sometimes what she needs is someone to run over to CVS to get a prescription; sometimes it might mean taking her to the store or picking up a food item. She is 87, very literate, and has had an interesting life that includes living abroad. Such a person needs to be polite, trustworthy, and careful. An interest in words and word games, or travel, or home design, or art, etc., is a plus but not essential. There are other seniors in the area who may also benefit from a driver's services on an occasional basis for errands, doctor's appointments nearby, shopping, prescription pickup, even yard sales or other fun.
