Are you looking for a trustworthy, dependable, charming and fun loving individual to care for someone you love? I'd like to introduce myself. I am not a nurse, I'm not even a CNA. I'm just a good person with a BIG heart. I am married. I have one child, a 9-year-old boy. I graduated from PCI in 1995, I have a diploma in medical assisting. I will cook, clean, provide transportation, bathe, and help with anything needed. I am capable, trained, and have performed injections (such as insulin), blood pressure checks, and help with making sure medications are taken. My experience in home health care goes as far as caring for my great aunt full time for two years who was 86 years old when she passed away. She was diabetic, along with many other health issues. She was in a wheelchair. I have no problems getting someone from wheelchair to chair or wheelchair to bed. I daily gave her insulin shots and checked her sugar levels three times per day. I cooked and cleaned house, assisted with her bath and dispensed daily medications. I also drove her to doctor appointments. I enjoyed bringing a smile to her face by doing extras such as foot baths and beauty treatments. I currently watch over for an elderly woman I had worked with. I phone her daily and stop in once a week to house clean or run errands. My previous employment consisted of medical billing and coding. My position sitting at a desk all day depressed me. I have too much energy, and I thrive on helping others in anything they may have trouble doing.
