I have provided care giving to cancer patients, one who passed away in my arms. Also, I have cared for Alzheimer's patients and others who had other types of dementia. I have cared for and nursed back to health two seniors who had fallen and broken their hips. The very first patient who I took care of was my mother who passed away in November of 1993. While taking care of my own mother, I realized how personal reward came from giving of myself to someone in need of loving care.
