For the past five years, I have been a nanny to two small children and have loved every minute of it. I also worked, in the 90's, with seniors and the handicapped in home health care. I did everything from cooking and cleaning to personal care. I also transported my clients to and from doctor appointments. I feel that children and the elderly/seniors have so much to offer us by way of their innocence and wisdom. I received as much for those wonderful people as they did from me, it was just different. I will say that I am very disappointed in the way my country in general treats the elderly. They are to be revered!
