I am a certified nurse's assistant and have been for 15 years. I have worked in the intensive care unit for nine years, taking care of the elderly. I found out that I have a love for caring and taking care of the elderly when my father was diagnosed with cancer. It was such a good feeling to me, to know that I helped him when he needed it, that I started working in nursing homes and then in assisted living centers. It has always been a pleasure to help those who sometimes cannot help themselves.
