In my senior year of high school, I had to move in with my grandfather because he took ill. This was a challenge starting off, but I grew to understand that I would rather give back to my elders because they have given so much. I learned that they need genuine love and care along with the help of others to perform duties that they are no longer able to do themselves. I count it as a blessing to be able to help and assist others. It has taught me to be grateful and appreciative. Therefore, I am more than willing to help any elderly in need.
