I worked in the health care field for 12 years; one year as a CNA caring for elderly through a home health agency, and nine months as a CNA in an operating room. I then started working toward getting my registered nurse courses started at a local community college. I worked at LDS Hospital in their pulmonary department for two years and then transferred to the University Health Care Hospital to get half of tuition. I continued working their 11 years while achieving my registered nurse's license. I have worked in the emergency room, post orthopedic surgery nursing and medical floor nursing. I then sought other work as a research nurse and was last employed at LifeTree Clinical Research. In April 2008, I had a baby and have not worked as a nurse for 18 months. My license has expired, but I do have the experience it would take to take care of elderly people.
