I am a Medical Assistant. I have been caring for my neighbor for over a year now. She is 90 years old. I make her breakfast, lunch and dinner, all healthy meals. I feed her three cats for her and do minor chores around her home. I worked for a Doctor who had many seniors come in each day. I love working with the elderly. My grandparents both had full time nurses by their sides when they became ill, and it touched my heart to see how much they cared for them. I am very passionate about caring for people, and I love working with people. Being a part of the home health field is very rewarding in many ways, knowing that you are caring for someone's mother or father. Visiting with them daily or weekly can bring a smile to their faces, knowing they have someone looking after them each day.
