I've worked in an assisted living for about two and a half years. I loved it because I grew so attached to them. They loved me, and were so sad when I had to leave. I didn't want to leave, but I had a family member that was very ill and needed me to care for her. I enjoyed being able to help them do whatever it was that they can't do by themselves.
