I have two years experience working with a super lady age 85. She had dementia but she was a real treat to be around. She was fully functional but often had dizzy spells and needed some companionship and we grew close together as she would play the piano for me and we would drink coffee and read the paper together in the mornings. I made sure she ate properly, took her vitamins, went for walks with her, and took showers regularly. It wasn't demanding but it was very fulfilling and it allowed me to grow deep as a person while I cared for her and gave her someone to rely on.
