I am a licensed CNA in Texas, and I worked for about one and a half years as a home health aide, primarily serving the elderly. After home health, I took care of one of my former home health clients in the home of her son and daughter-in-law, as a live-in care provider, for about a year before she passed away. Before I started working as a home health aide, I wasn't sure I'd like it. I was mistaken. I have a lot of empathy and sympathy for the elderly population, and I really enjoy helping to make their lives a little better or a little more pleasant in whatever way I can.
