I have cared for my grandparents and I loved spending time with them. Before they got really sick I would sit with them for hours listening to them tell stories from their lives. I loved that. I would also take them for walks, to pay their bills, to the mall. They both had cancer and got very sick before they died. I worked very closely with their doctors, nurses, and hospice team to learn how to take care of them so that my family could keep them at home with us in their last days.
